Today we're introducing Organizations. Organizations allow you to ensure that any of your Viaduct resources (currently Platform or WebPush apps) can be billed to given organization rather than always being the responsibility of whichever user created them.
- All billing for resources owned by an organization is seperate to that of individual users. Seperate payment methods, seperate invoices, seperate everything.
- Create teams and invite people to them.
- Choose which of your teams can access any resources owned by the organization.
This is a great step forward for anyone who uses Viaduct for their business or just works as part of a team.
We have a number of new services planned to launch after Christmas and these will take full advantage of the new organizations infrastruture.
##Getting started
Creating your first organization is easy. Just head over to your Settings page and then select Organizations. You can then follow the on screen instructions to create a new organization.
Once you have created an organization, you can create teams and invite people to them. You can add anyone who you want to have the same permissions as you to the Owners team which cannot be removed.
##Moving existing apps to an organization
You can move any application which you already have to your new organization. Just head over to your application's settings page and choose Change Owner from the menu on the right hand side of the page.
