While you're using the Viaduct web interface there are certain tasks which may take a little while to run and we perform in the background so you can get on with other things. Things like exporting databases or restoring backups.
Once you've clicked "Go", it can be tricky to know exactly what's happening and whether the task has actually finished. We just queued the task and sent you an email when it's completed - hardly ideal!
Today, we've pushed out some updates to help you monitor the progress of any tasks which get run the background. Whenever you request something which we run in the background, an item will appear in the sidebar from which you can access a list of all tasks which are running.
Once you've clicked on this, you can view the current status of any tasks and acknowledge ones you've seen. If you don't acknowledge these, they'll disappear after a few days anyway.
